Ella and Toby’s wedding day in London was full of personality, beautiful London moments, and so much joy from beginning to end.
There is something incredibly special about London weddings that fully embrace the city’s character, and Ella and Toby’s wedding day did exactly that. From arriving in a classic white London taxi to travelling across South London by bus with all of their guests, every part of the day felt personal, relaxed, and full of joy.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of Horniman Museum & Gardens, their wedding combined stunning views across London with laid-back celebrations surrounded by their closest family and friends. The entire day had such a warm atmosphere, with emotional moments balanced perfectly by laughter, excitement, and so many genuine memories.
For couples looking for a London wedding venue that offers both beautiful gardens and iconic city views, Horniman Museum & Gardens is always an incredible choice. It creates the perfect mix of elegance and relaxed charm, especially for couples wanting natural, documentary-style wedding photography. The flowers throughout the day were created by award-winning florist Elaine Graham from Pesh Flowers, and they perfectly complemented the relaxed elegance of the wedding. From the bouquets to the floral details around the venue, everything felt natural, stylish, and beautifully thought through.

The ceremony itself was incredibly emotional and full of warmth from beginning to end. Surrounded by their family and friends, Ella and Toby exchanged vows in a space filled with natural light and genuine happiness.
One of the things I loved most about this ceremony was how relaxed everything felt. There was no pressure for perfection . Just real emotion, laughter, and moments that naturally unfolded throughout the ceremony. Those are always the moments that photograph beautifully because they feel authentic and completely personal to the couple.
Horniman Museum & Gardens offers such a unique atmosphere for weddings in London. The combination of historic architecture, open gardens, and panoramic city views creates a venue that feels both intimate and grand at the same time.

One of the highlights of the day was definitely the confetti shot inside the incredible bandstand. The energy, laughter, and excitement made for such a fun moment and some of my favourite images from the wedding.

The flowers throughout the day were created by award-winning florist Elaine Graham from Pesh Flowers, and they tied everything together beautifully. The floral styling felt elegant yet natural, perfectly matching the relaxed atmosphere of the wedding.
From the bouquets to the smaller floral details throughout the venue, everything complemented the surroundings of Horniman Museum & Gardens perfectly. Soft textures, beautiful colours, and thoughtful details added so much character to the day without ever feeling overly formal.
Wedding details always help tell the fuller story of a wedding day, and I always love taking time to photograph the smaller elements that couples have carefully chosen — flowers, dresses, table details, and all the personal touches that make every wedding unique.

After the ceremony, we spent some time exploring the gardens for a relaxed portrait session. One of the best things about Horniman Museum & Gardens is the variety of backdrops within such a short walking distance. Within minutes, you can move from elegant gardens to open views overlooking London.
Rather than creating overly posed photographs, we kept the session very natural and relaxed. Ella and Toby were able to simply enjoy a few quiet moments together away from the excitement of the wedding while we captured genuine interactions and movement naturally as they explored the gardens.

Keeping the day completely true to themselves, Ella and Toby then travelled with their guests on a London bus to The Lordship Pub in East Dulwich for their wedding breakfast.
This part of the day added so much personality and fun to the wedding. Guests laughed, chatted, waved out of the windows, and enjoyed the journey together across South London. These in-between moments often become some of the most memorable parts of the day because everyone is relaxed and simply enjoying being together.
London weddings always work beautifully when couples fully embrace the character of the city, and the bus journey felt like such a perfect continuation of the story they had created throughout the day.

Ella and Toby’s wedding was a perfect reminder that weddings do not need to feel overly formal or complicated to be unforgettable. The entire day focused on genuine moments, meaningful connections, and simply enjoying time with the people they love most.
From the beautiful ceremony at Horniman Museum & Gardens to the relaxed celebrations in East Dulwich, every part of the day reflected their personalities perfectly. It was such a pleasure to document such a joyful and authentic London wedding.
